The Tempest - William Shakespeare Well, I'm not crazy about Shakespeare, but occasionally I have the opportunity to see a Shakespearean play. Before I go, I read the play so I have some idea what is going on. This is actually an enjoyable play with interesting characters. I felt that I was in a fairy tale with bad guys (Sebastian and Antonio) and good guys (Miranda and Ferdinand.) A ship wrecks on an island. Everyone is saved. Boy falls in love with girl as part of the love story. Everything ends satisfactorily. It sounds corny and is. However, it was great to see the play performed, knowing what the plot was beforehand.
