I usually enjoy Georgette Heyer's mysteries. This one, not so much. There were delightful characters, like Timothy and his mother, but rest of the characters didn't seem well-fleshed out. First, the senior male member of the family dies in a fall off a cliff. Was it an accident or was he pushed? His heir is killed within two weeks in an obvious murder. Were the two deaths connected? No one is sure. The new heir then has several accidents that seem to indicate he is also in danger. The question is why? Is it business related or family hatreds? As usual, the book is an easy read with witty conversations and irritating people.
